Review and GIVEAWAY! algebra solver~step by step help for your homework...

I really like this product. I do however have to admit it took a minute to figure it out. Its like using a scientific calculator for the first time. You struggle with trying to figuring it out but once you do its a god send! Just keep in mind that I am horrible at math!

You simply type in YOUR OWN equation and it solves it step by step while explaining each step for you. YES STEP BY STEP SOLVING! I really wish I had this when I had my pre-algebra class last year. I am so terrible at math and my teacher wasn't much help. I had no problem solving the equations at school but once I got home my mind would go blank. The pre-algebra book didn't help either. It never explained how you get your answer. Finally the solution!

The Algebrator covers everything from pre-algebra to college algebra including matrices! The only problem I would have with this algebraic software would be my children cheating. I would watch my children while they are using this product so they don't just jot down the solution. But all in all this is an awesome idea and I know I will use it often. This will come in handy for my college algebra classes next year!

This product is perfect for anyone to use. This product is especially perfect for people who haven't been in school for years like me. Like they say if you don't use it you lose it!!

One lucky reader will win a copy of algebrator

Not a winner? Buy it now! Here is a special deal just for my readers: http://www.softmath.com/adv/fromblog.html

If I ruled the world....

If I ruled the world I would make "an eye for an eye" a law. All these people who do horrific and malicious things knowingly to other people should get their just desserts. Its not fair that the majority of violent criminals get a roof over their heads and three square meals a day not to mention many other perks you can get in prison. I think they should get what they give!

I believe that any crimes that are deemed heinous iniquitous, or malicious should get whatever they did done to them. If you can dish it you can take it!

The only exception would be people who hurt children and innocent animals. They should get tortured in the most inexplicable way possible..... NO EXCEPTION.... None of this insanity crap.... Not a good enough excuse for me.....

Yeah I know two wrongs don't make a right. An eye for an eye would make the whole world blind. Yeah I get it. Well I am a firm believer in "An eye for an eye". If this was made into a law I firmly believe that people would think twice about what they were doing.

As long as I can remember I have heard the phrase "would you want someone to do that to you", and I always tell my kids the same thing so they can learn that their actions effect others. Lets put that into effect! My daughter use to grab the kitty by her throat and walk around the house. I would always say to her (after I explained that it hurts the kitty) "would you want me to do that to you"? She quickly stopped carrying the kitty around by the throat!

Review: The slice™ Safety Cutter - Great for couponers

The slice™ Safety Cutter - Great for couponers is in my opinion a handy little tool. I find that when I cut a lot of coupons with a normal scissors that my hand gets tired easily. Especially when I have to clip several inserts from the newspaper. I find that with

The Slice™ Safety Cutter my hand doesn't experience what I normally experience with scissors. The blade is finger friendly and is made of ceramic so it stays sharp and never rusts.

The slice glides perfectly across the paper making clipping coupons a cinch. It works perfectly for clipping coupons, news paper clippings, and recipes. Also works with opening shrink wrap, DVDs, movies and plastic wrapping. It has a built in key ring hole and magnet making storage easy.

~Ceramic blade lasts longer than steel
~Stays sharp and never rusts
~Built-in magnet and key-ring hole
~Finger-Friendly™ Design
~For left- and right-handers

Is baby shampoo poisoning our infants?

There is some controversy floating around now that baby shampoo is poisoning our infants. There are a lot of consumer advocates out there who are urging the public to boycott Johnson & Johnson for selling baby shampoo that has cancer causing agents in them. Johnson & Johnson is still selling these products even though they have been PULLED, yes pulled, from shelves in other countries!

What parents need to know:

DIOXANE, is "a likely carcinogen" that is "a byproduct of a process for making chemicals more soluble and gentler on the skin".

QUATERNIUM-15: is a preservative which releases formaldehyde to kill bacteria.

Apparently formaldehyde has been declared a known human carcinogen this year. Johnson & Johnson's baby shampoo still carries trace mounts of these carcinogens even though this company offers other versions of these products without the chemicals in them. They say the trace amount is minuscule but why risk it? Babies are more vulnerable to exposure than adults.

I say ditch the carcinogens or find new consumers. You can bet your butts that I will not be using Johnson & Johnson products anymore. The company says that they are reducing the levels below detectable amounts. It also says that formaldehyde-releasing preservatives are safe and have been approved by regulators in the U.S.

I'm sorry but they need to completely eliminate this chemicals. Whats ok for you today could kill you tomorrow.

What are your thoughts on this?
